Kat Von D Tattoo Me

In 2008 Sephora and Kat Von D amazing tattoo artist, TV star and everything there between hooked up and the Kat Von D make-up line exclusively for Sephora was born. The line is fusion between glamorous, old Hollywood and edgy rock 'n' roll, just like Kat herself.

I took my first step in exploring this make-up line by getting the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, in black obviously.

You just have to love packaking. It is simply gorgeous. So edgy but at the same time stylish and girly.

I have to admit that I am really bad at lining my eyes. Creating cat eyes or a wing takes me forever and I consume several q-tips in the process. So I have actually been hunting for a good and easy to use liner. At Sephora, the sales lady explained how this was the best liner ever and how everyone at the store just loves this product. So I thought I might as well give it a go.

Haha! My crappy attempt to draw a heart.

Yes, it truly is the best liner I have ever tried. It is super easy to use and it just glides on your eyes creating a perfect straight line. Its almost like it knows what you want to do and lining my eyes has never been this easy and effortless. The shape of the tip makes it easy shift between thick and thin lines. You can even use it to create temporary tattoos.

Have you tried any of the Kat Von D for Sephora products?

Ever Eden - Rosace Earrings

:O What is in the bag? What is it? :OOOO

Could it be? Finally?

Yes! Yes it is!!!

Finally they are here! I finally managed to score me the Ever Eden Rosace Earrings by Michelle Phan. I will spear you from the hype, you can read all about it from my previous post here. I have to tell you that I am super happy about the earrings. I just love them.

I chose the golden ones since I am a real sucker for gold. The quality really surprised me. With such a low price I was not entirely sure what to expect but fortunately they are really good quality and I am sure I will be able to enjoy their beauty for a long time. I have been wearing them almost daily. They are quite dramatic for a day time look, but with a simple outfit they can definitely be pulled off.

One of the special features of the earrings is that they come in three separate pieces. You can wear the "fan" part either behind your ear loop or on the top of it like a normal earring. Or, if you like you can just wear the little golden stud. I myself,  prefer wearing the fan behind my ear loop.

Loooooove iiiiit!

And good news beauties, you can order the Ever Eden line from Glamboutique which now delivers to Europe as well. Check it out at Glamboutique

What do you think, aren't they pretty? Do you own any of the fabulous Ever Eden jewelry?

Quick update: Month of Shopping

I did a little trip to New York. You know, just to make sure that its still there :D Of course I could not avoid shopping at two of my favorite stores in the world: Victoria's Secret and Sephora.

Oh what amazing stuff they have. I just absolutely love these stores and there was noway that I could have resisted them. I will spare you from boring pictures of cute little undies and bras. However I got some really cool stuff.

From Sephora I got the Lancôme Dual Finish compact powder (since I forgot my powder back home, I obviously was compelled to buy a new one :D), the amazing Kat Von D liquid eyeliner (review coming later) and Soap & Glory's Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser (review coming later).

Victoria's Secret wooed me over with its glosses and fragrance mists.

I have never tried the VS Fantasies products before and was a bit sceptic about them, however was pleasantly surprised. The mists are light and pleasant fragrances that can be even worn every day. I usually find that normal perfumes are way too strong for daytime wear and prefer slightly lighter scented products.

I got the Such A Flirt (starfruit and white orchid), Love Spell (cherry blossom and peach) and Simply Breathless (freesia and mandarin).

What do you think? Do you have any VS Fantasies products?

Back to Lancôme

My previous foundation ran out and I was looking for something new. Instead of picking something new, I went to back to my old favorite Lancôme Teint Miracle.

I have been really disappointed with my previous foundation and I felt I needed something that I knew that would work. Teint Miracle has served me well. There is nothing particularly amazing about it, it just works. It is light, spreads really nicely and does not clog your pores. It is not super thick, which I really like about it, however it does cover any imperfections and makes your skin smooth and glamourous. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it.

Also got the Lancôme loose poweder. I have never used loose powder before, been a compact powder girl for all my life. So it was a bit difficult at first since I had no clue what I was doing. But I think I got the hang of it in the end. The important factor is to have a really fluffy brush and gently brush the powder all over your face. As a pleasant surprise I found that loose powder really sets your make up on and makes it last longer.

Do you prefer loose powder or compact powder? Or do you use both?

Clinique craziness

Hello all you beautiful people! Dont' you sometimes feel like you want to pamper yourself. I mean, when you go to the drugstore and you just need one thing, one tiny thing but then you see a bigger thing and you are like "oh wau that looks pretty, I have to have it". You are allowed to do that sometimes, aren't you?

Anyway I had one of those random shopping moments. I went to get something entirely different, something I really needed and instead ended up getting a set of stuff.

I got the Clinique eyes set.

The set includes a lovely pink make up bag, all about eyes eye cream, eye cream de-puffing roller and mascara.

I have all ready praised the all about eyes cream in my previous post and this time I will have to continue with the same line. Still loving it! The eye roller was a new experience to me. I do not know if actually does any difference as in de-puffs your eyes. However it feels really good and refreshing on those really stupid days when waking up is just too painful or when your previous night ended few hours ago :p

The mascara is tiny and cute. As I have said before I don't think one should spend a lot of money on a mascara as I feel you can get the same result with cheaper versions as you can with expensive ones. Even though the mascara does not trickle any big desires or feelings in me it is conveniently small and I can actually carry it with me in my make up bag.

So how you doing? Have you splurged on anything this month?
